Kasturi was reviewed by The Good Food Guide 2012:
"Kasturi's cooking is a cut above the local curry house norm. The kitchen delivers Indian regional food with a degree of panache, whether you try a tandoori from the North West Frontier or Malabar prawns spiced with fennel and mustard seeds. Jalfrezis and vindaloos satisfy the diehards, and there are keenly priced thalis too."
